Longtan Park (Dragon Pool Park)
Longtan (dragon pool) Park can be found directly east of the Temple of Heaven in the Chongwen district. The west side of Longtan Park has been converted into an amusement park with many modern rides.

Traditionalists may prefer a stroll around the banks of the lake where there is an outdoor bird market. Hundreds of people come to buy or look at the numerous birds in the little stalls run by traders.

There is also a pavilion and bridge built in the traditional Chinese style. Being the theme of the park, Dragons can be found carved in more than 100 trees scattered around the site.
