The Ancient City of Jingzhou
The Ancient City of Jingzhou, known as Jianglin City, lies to the north of Shashi City and beside the Yangtze River, The wall is firmly constructed, using strip stones as wall bases. It is about 10.5 kilometers long, 8.8 meters high, have 4567 battlements and 26 emplacements and closely surrounded by the moat whose width range from 30 to 100 meters.

Jingzhou is a important strategic point, easy to defend and hard to attack. So it is called 'Jingzhou of iron';. There are six gates of the city all together. There are six small city gates towers above six city gates of the city, from which you can enjoy a view of a thousand-li Jianghan plain in your eyes and feel ten-thousand family's towers and cabinets are just like a picture in a frame.
